Rock Solid Dinosaur
First: Nice Black. Don’t get confused with the coefficient ‘Charcoal’. It is almost matt and hence, ready to make nice combination with black, dark navy blue and contrast combination with white, grey (subject to the color of your shirt though).Material: The only fragile part could be the net like stuff at the place of shoelace, otherwise solid leather will assure you about its longevity. The rubber sole ensures good grip and endurance. The most advantage of this twisted design is any sign of stray white pasting spot can be covered up.Weight: Not so heavy; you can carry it with out worries.Comfort: Nice and soft enough inner soul will grip your toe tightly inspite of being spacious.Height: Up to your ankle.Worries: Quality of Shoelace.Image: I’ll give that tomorrow. I think the sunlight will be instrumental to comprehend this pair of shoes better.

Not at all practical
This shoe is not at all practical, it’s slippery, yes it’s original but it is not functional at all. The shoe is tight and have hardly and space to move your fingers. Also the heel is too high it feels uncomfortable all the time. Appearance is good but the practical use of this shoe is limited. I doubt that this can’t even be used for tracking coz of its weight and slippery grip and high height sole. Better go for normal boots it you want leather shoes. For normal day to day tasks not recommended

Order only if U like heavyweight shoes.
The build quality is good including the material and stitches which are original nubuck and leather, But the problem is that my son( for whom I ordered ) was uncomfortable with the insane weight and fit. He said it was heavy on the legs to the extent of hindering his movements. Hence I returned the item. Hope this helps. Regards. 👍🏻

Comfort and quality quotient has gone down over the years
I have been wearing Woodland shoes for the last 25 years…..i feel that the manufacturers need to focus on the quality like they did when they launched the brand. Pasting of the soles of Woodland shoes is a big issue….i bought another Woodie from a showroom 6 months back and the sole is coming out in layers….i hope the same does not happens to this one otherwise it will be time switch.

Poor packaging.
Although the item was found in sound condition but packaging was very very poor. Seller simply dispatched the item without any amazon packaging. Seller should know about weather conditions also. Item might have been damaged due to rain.

Shoes are not wide enough, feels like it is squeezing your toes even if you get 1 size bigger
Good thing is it did help me increase my height (from 5’9″ to 5’11”). Bad thing is I slipped from stairs after wearing it. No idea of what’s the use of those big spikes.Also it stands out alot in crowd.

Too much heavy, and looks very tough.
After 2 days use -Very heavy boots. Little bit larger than size but it is okay. Looking very tough. Feel less comfort., still okay. Use turkish shocks for better padings. Cost is also okay.After few months of use I will write details.

It is heavy

Too heavy for long trekking
Although this shoe is quite sturdy and tough but it’s not made for longer trekks as you will be facing lots of fatigue just carrying them to the height.You’ll feel that ground is sticking to your feet.

Dono jodi shoes ka weight kul around 1.60 kg hai . Hard sole hai cushion ki kami hai . Pehen pe kafi bhadi mehsus hota hai. Grip excellent hai front portion of sole height 1.5 inch hai aur edi k sole 2 inch ya usi thoda adhik hai . Charcoal black me ye kafi Sundar lagta hai .

Tooo heavy for trekking
Not made for serious trekking. Why did the product designer though that a pair of shoes weighing 4kgs+ is a good idea?I went to chopta-tungnath-chandrashila trek with this and here is my experience.As soon as I started walking upwards I felt thefatigue hitting so soon…My whole trek group left me way behind and I was left behind alone…5 minutes before reaching tungnath I gota bad muscle cramp and ittook me another 30minutes of rest….Tungnath to chandrashila is even steep so i gave me even more trouble with a worr of triggering the cramp again…after reaching summit I noticed that these shoes has given a bruise in my heel and my skin was peeled a bit and was hurtening bad.I missed the sunrise due to my low pace (we started trekk at 3am night)I was so damn tired because of these shoes that I could hardly enjoy the scenic 360° view of peaks at chandrashila.Next day I got AMS because of tiredness and it only got worse…In short PLEASE DONT BUY THESE FOR TREKKING. And I am also banning this brand from my shoplist for EVER.The only good thing is the grip is truly good.

Big, hard and heavy boots
Is it running?, Playing?, Jogging?, or a pleasant walk?Here is something that gained my attention. There are only two companies red chief and woodland who make the most durable shoes is what is believe. I bought a pair of woodland shoes(the ranger series) three years before and still going very well.ComfortThe shoe provides with a good comfort. If we talk about ranger shoes they are not really comfortable and can cause pain in the feet and calf muscles. But this one is a stand alone in this segment. The comfort in sense of long distance i.e. we can go long and long as we want and it does not make your feet sweat which is the best part I liked in it.WeightIt weights around 359 grams which is not light but neither too heavy. As it is understood that ranger shoes are not light. This helps while we are on the move. This weight creates a balance between our legs and it avoids leg twists that create enormous pain. As it is a mixture of a ranger shoe and a sporty shoe, its weight is just perfect.DurabilityAs I said I purchased it three years before it is still comfortable the looks however has changed a bit as I use it to my fullest.I play football, I run, I walk and still going on. The shoe is also very flexible you can actually hold it in your hands and twist it, turn it or squeeze it. The rubber sole gets it back to its original shape. GripThe tough rubber sole gives a firm grip while running. but we still have to slight careful on wet slippery surfaces like commercial tiles etc., The sole grip is made for uneven trek surfaces. However, it is best while trekking on uneven surfaces or on the jogging track and also on the playing ground.Negatives:-As I said it is made of soft leather when the leather gets wet in the water it takes a lot of time to dry which is the only negative aspect of it.I would suggest all youngsters to try it out once and believe me you will become a strong brand loyal. You go to college, classes, jogging, walking or even driving your car it is really good!

The overall feel, size, and appearance of these shoes are great, but they severely lack grip. After 1-2 weeks of continuous use, I expected the grip to improve, but it hasn’t. The shoes are extremely slippery, especially in wet conditions, making them unsafe to wear in the rain. They even slip on a plain floor with just a small amount of water. Unfortunately, they don’t provide the secure traction I was hoping for.

Shoe quality is good, your height gets increased by 5cm. But do not buy if you need to walk in slippery surface, as it tend to slip in slippery surface, so this is a problem during rain.

When it is Woodland its got to be good
Read a lot of reviews about the size and weight of this shoe and that really confused me before buying. However I decided to go ahead and buy this largely due to the brand Woodland and the price at which this grey color was available.Yes on the first look the shoe definitely is overwhelming largely due to its physical size and weight. But surprisingly once you wear the shoe these concerns simply fade away. The shoe is very comfortable and has terrific grip. It also does not feel heavy after you’ve worn it for 2-3 times. You feel secured wearing this shoe and is good for outdoor activities. I suggest wearing slight thick cotton socks for better comfort.
